Summer 2023

Apple

Over the course of my 12 week internship as a Product Design Intern on the iCloud team, I created a seed concept related to growth and conversion efforts for iCloud & iCloud+. I pitched the feature to Robert Kondrk, SVP of Services Product, Design, & Marketing, and the scope of the product was expanded and approved for emerging markets.

Key Learnings

Developing a focus

Being a designer requires you to cut down the visual noise and get to the essence of the product, which requires a lot of deep, critical thinking.

Design as a strategy

I developed a deeper understanding of how design can be used to meet the needs of the business without sacrificing the customer experience.

Refining the details and craft

There’s a million ways to go about a project, but by taking a lot of care in the final execution, even the most abstract visual concepts can be brought to life in exciting new ways.

SHHH… IT’S A SECRET

Although I can’t share the details of my project publicly, if you are interested in learning more about my experience please send me an email.

A big thank you

To my manager Calvin Ryu, my buddy Marcel Muller, Hannah Story, Meg Frost, and the rest of the iCloud Human Interface team for their invaluable feedback and for making my summer at Apple so special ☁️ ✨

there’s more!
